Goosebumps: The Game reviews

Backstory: The Point & Click game "Goosebumps: The Game" Is historically modeled after the movie of the same Name "Goosebumps" and the aforementioned Books by R.L. Stine. The Player slips into the Role of the Protagonist and Sets in after a Vice has had an Accident. Suddenly Monsters are popping up everywhere in the Small Town. The Player must now do everything possible to survive (and believe me, there are more Opportunities not to make it than you would like to think) and get rid of the Monsters as soon as possible ... Control: Right and left Mouse button for Control and Interaction. Otherwise, the "ESC" button to Save or Leave the Game. Design in Image and Sound: Well, the visual Design is now a bit older, but has a certain Charm due to the Comic-book-like graphics. There are smaller Details everywhere that refer to non-acting or non-plot characters of R.L.Stines books. Objects and Paths are easy to see. The Tone is adapted to the Situations, but not particularly memorable. Conversation./Confrontations with other Characters are well-matched and fit vocally compared to the original "Goosebump" movie. So I was pleased at this Point. Language: English Only. Grade: The Difficulty of the Game is mixed. Initially, it is lighter, but increases over Time (partly due to the Solutions, partly due to the Amount of Items that Can be collected). I found it very pleasant that it didn't require full Concentration right at the Beginning, but only in the Course of the Game. As a result, it felt to me like I was gradually sliding deeper into History. Achievements: Some can be achieved through normal Play, some require certain Strides or objects or Action Sequences. Overall a successful Mix and some Achievements were particularly Fun (I only became aware of the whole Range of Possibilities at a certain Achievement!) Technical: The Game itself ran smoothly, even on my old Computer. I noticed only one Small Thing: If you get out of the Game or don't save it for a long Time, then the Game Screen flickers. That goes away after a While by yourself or you restart the Game. It wasn't disruptive to me for the Flow of play, so no Deduction here. My Conclusion: Since I have a great Enthusiasm for the goosebumps books and also the Goosebump movie, I wasn't disappointed. The Game has several Ways in which it can be solved (detailed or faster variants). The Auto-save points are reliable and the Combination possibilities of Objects and Figures Numerous And sometimes funny. The Atmosphere of the Story is well represented. It's worth the full Price to me and I'm happy to recommend it further:-) _ _ _ _ _ _ _ you liked my Review? great!
