Grapple Getaway

a.k.a THE LONGWINDED AND HIGHLY IMPROBABLE LEGEND OF THE INFAMOUS ORLANDO "ROBBERY" GRAPPLETON, ESQ.

Fresh off the tail end of yet another wildly successful heist, our hero Orlando Grappleton finds themselves speeding across the dry and dusty arroyos of Death's Hand Gulch, authorities in hot pursuit. Armed with only their trusty six-shooter, weapons begrudgingly sold by their accomplices, and a charged grappling hook, they must evade capture into the coming sandstorm.

How many foes does Orlando face? 
Will they ever escape the long arm of the law? 
Why are the police cars filled with money?

These questions race through the minds of every honorable and heroic soul witness to the latest escapades of the legendary robber Orlando Grappleton.

The Game

This game sees the player in the back of a speeding car, trying to get the authorities off their trail with an arsenal of guns. Exploding cars will launch bags of money high into the air - make sure to catch them with your grappling hook!

Designed and programmed in Unity over seven days for the 7DFPS game jam. Weapons 3D-modeled in Blender. Thanks to the 7DFPS organizers for another fun and welcoming event!
