Gravity Cat reviews and comments

--Gravity Cat | German Review--Short Summary: In Gravity Cat, you manage-as the Name suggests, a cute Kitten that can change gravity. 52 Levels Are currently going through (more are to follow in August), which the Term Difficulty increase is probably new. In addition, both Space key And Gravityness buttons buckle around at a few Levels. The Degree of difficulty varies greatly-with some Levels, Frustration can also occur here. 5.5/10 Detailed Review: Gravity Cat is a 2D developer where the Player goes through levels in simple 2D Worlds (not a spectacular Background), which are always based on the same Mechanics. The Kitten can jump, move left and right (WITHOUT Sprinting Opportunity) and just change gravity, that is, the Kitten turns around and flies upwards. The Game has-well-functioning-Controller support, a Playing Time of around 2h (at the current Level of 52 Levels) & is a Platformer. > > > Level Design: Alternately, the different Levels are not real. Basically, there are three Elements in the Game: Blocks-on which is jumped and which are always grouped together in square Blocks-gears-In which Cat is killed-as well as Levers, which remove lasers (Lasers are also deadly, by the way.) Over the Duration of the Game, NEW Mechanics are NEVER added, the Game always stays true to the Beginning, but this does not cause any Problems due to the short Playing Time. The Background always remains similar, a simple Image, no more and no less. > > > Music: The Soundtrack sounds nice, but after some Time you go to the Ghost quite a bit-I finally switched to my own Playlist. > > > Playing Mechanics: Well, I mentioned the Controlls. The Gravityswitch has been well implemented and is needed at a time later in each Level. The first Levels play relatively easy and serve to Get To know the Control. Soon you come across the first Gears, which become-how unfair! -to move a lot faster than Cat. Plus, the Hit boxes of the Gears are slightly larger than the Graphics, which can quickly turn out to be frustrating. The Levers & Lasers are a nice Extension, but NEVER bring Puzzles with them-they just block the Level end. Now we get to the first big BUT: The Gravityswitch doesn't always run smoothly-both with the Keyboard and The Controller, but with different Effects. -Keyboard: The Space key Often does not react (interestingly level-dependent), which can frustrate very, seally after completed Work on the Way to the Finish. -Controller: In the Gravityswitch, Cat TO flies touching the Ground somewhere in the Sky, which is tantamount to Death. That led to extreme Frustration, especially at 1-2 Levels, with the break In play that had been accumulated. > > > Game Balance: Here comes probably my biggest Criticism-and Deduction point. If the Game starts so easily, we come up against an almost impossible Level after a short Time-and without Warning. After that, it goes on so easily that we really ... Teased... Feel. Especially in the Levels 35-41, big Breaks of Frustration occur again, after which the Game takes us on the Arm through extremely simple Levels. Please revise and, if necessary, change the Order!!! > > > Pros and Cons: + Simple Control and nice for in between! + Mostly nice demanding Levels + Funny Easteregg! (No, not in the Menu.) + Well implemented Controller + No Death Animation (Wants not To see Cat die:, c-Extremely unfair Balancing-At least in part-partial Bugs-Music after some Time exhausting-No story-Still some short Playing Time (but is still changed:) > > > Conclusion: Gravity Cat is a very nice, fun Platformer for in between. The (in the Sale) €1.50he is, in my Opinion, totally worth it, if it's because of the cute Kitten. The fact that Balancing is unfair is quite annoying, after which you are proud when you have reached such a Level. In total, I give the Game a Rating of 5.5/10. I put a lot of Work into this Review and would appreciate feedback! Enjoy Gravity Cat, Felix.
