Green Man's War on Christmas

Taking inspiration from eccentric 90's computer games like Elf Bowling and blending them with the tough-as-nails arcade action of such classics as Robotron, this game was developed in one week for the Spring 2023 Shacknews Jam, whose theme was RETRO.

Nobody has it out for the most wonderful time of the year quite like GREEN MAN, the Patron Saint of Holiday Jeer... and he's not waiting until December for his chance to shake things up a bit. Having lured Santa Claus away from his frozen throne in the Arctic Circle, Green Man is now taking the fight to the North Pole to conquer Christmas and make his mark on the calendar... forever!

Use your impressive arsenal to blast away waves of elves and other Christmas creeps as you advance ever further into Santa's domain. Mrs. Claus and her skeleton crew of holiday heroes are all that stand between you and total domination, but they're not going down without a fight...
