Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy reviews

This game has helped me realize: this site needs "higly recommend" option. This game is very close to masterpiece, but a couple of bugs and a bit monotonous gameplay doesn't let it co become one. However, it is definitely underrated. This is the first game in my life, in which I truely enjoyed humor. The writing is witty, the characters are unique and alive, the story keeps you invested, and the soundtrack... well, it is one of a kind. The graphics and landscapes always make you want to see more.
Highly recommend.

Awesome story, art design, and voice cast.

Sub-par gameplay with areas that become a slog at times. 

Personally I haven't found the combat boring, although it's not great, either. And yes, there are some small bugs, the enemies disappear but are still being registered so the combat encounters won't end and you have to reload the checkpoint, or the voiceover disappears when you face the characters directly. But these are minor bugs that won't destroy your fun and they happen rarely.

The true awesomeness lies in the banter and the story. The voice actors, the characters themselves, and the story, all of this is far better than in the movie. The surrealism of the art style, and the locations, and some of the cinematic scenes will leave you craving for more, and did I mention the awesome banter between the characters?

Underrated gem!

The atmosphere and the banter felt really good. The vibe was very similar to the movies which I very much enjoyed. Voice acting was top notch. The game does get repetitive battle wise and the story could have been shorter by 5-6 hours. Overall, great game if you liked the movies!

A must play for any Guardians fan!  Characters and story were all fantastic. Also very enjoyable combat.
Overall a very enjoyable single player adventure. 8.5/10 

Flarkin Awesome

Fantastic single player adventure.  lots of bugs on launch kept me from platinuming it, but I'd still highly recommend it.
