Gumboy - Crazy Adventures reviews

GB-Crazy Features: A bit of a crush on the gameplay of the software resistance of the controlled object, which is why the game seems boring, because Kazual is killed on the root, as the control, and appearing back collectors. I could not get out of the level of the tutorial, because it became insanely boring to drive this ball on the Levis. Nothing, in general. GB-Crazy Adventures: A little fun, because of the division of the world on levels and goals to pass the level. The Resistance is the same, the boredom is the same.

To Put it bluntly, Gumboy is a mediocre attempt by Czech developers to make a playable platformer with more or less realistic physics (in 2006 it was fashionable). It is terribly inconvenient to today's standards management, which turns it into a rage-game from the first minutes after launch. Because of this, literally each level turns into a torture in the spirit of Sexy Hiking, or if you wish, Getting Over It-one wrong move can lead to the fact that the ball-the main character or jumps to another part of the level ("rubber" form), or with the acceleration will crash on ("Water" form), or will become completely unmanageable in flight ("Air" form). To Avoid this can be only one way-to become a super-cool player in Gumboy, who presses on the buttons with the shutter speed of the perfect timing and does not make any mistakes. Otherwise, The player prepared sharp bouts of frustration and, as a result, the demolition of the unhappy game from the hard drive, and maybe even a refand. I absolutely do not understand, who in the mind will spend on her time in the 2019 year-naturally, except for nostalgic players like me who at more or less young age caught Gumboy: Crazy Adventures in the version of the publishing house "Akella" (so exactly, this is another one " Low-budget to a non-known foreign game in which to translate had only inscriptions in the menu, which we sell for quite real money ", as it often happened at the memorable" Akella "in the mid-2000s). Once, when I had more time and less choice in terms of games, Gumboy really gave me a couple of pleasant evenings, elect rage Quit'om, after which the disc for many years went to collect dust somewhere on the cupboard, and then, apparently, dissolved in Air. Today, having succumbed to nostalgia, I tried to play it again, and I was enough for six minutes in the techno-demo of the engine Gumboy: Crazy Features and another five minutes in the "full" Gumboy: Crazy Adventures (the first comes bundled with the second). Frankly, I have no idea when I will run it again and how much I have enough, but today only the most notorious fans of the frising, uncontrollable, outdated, senseless and, apparently, unintentional (from the side of Developers) 2d-hardcore. As you can see from this review, I do not belong to them.
