Gunslugs 2 reviews

WHAT IS GUNSLUGS 2? Gunslugs 2 is the sequel to "Gunslugs", a run and gun port of smartphones, which recalls, making tribute in turn, of action films of the ' 80 and ' 90, with a rather simplistic audiovisual section and a gameplay that makes (or on the other hand tries) to emulate the chaotic of the Ju Egos of the genre. THE GOOD THING • A rhythm of play that suits you well, but that could have been much better. • Small cameo of iconic action characters that give you a friendly, silly, and enjoyable touch. The BAD • The overall level design leaves too much to be desired, literally leaving them to long "hallways." • Some drawbacks with hitbox; Bugs that force restart levels • Repetitive, whose average life does not slash more than a playthrough My Opinion... While it is a game that tries (in a pitiful way) to recreate the explosive aspect of its source material, it falls short by many sides that go from the scenarios, enemies, even the objectives of the same. Not bad game but could benefit from small fixes to the gameplay that although it works, sometimes there is no good feedback when we get damage or that weapons are better than others. Returning to the subject, it is not an experience of which you miss a lot showing a potential that could be exploited with a good budget and a few ideas of the genre run and gun. For your price, you might have a few minutes of fun, however on offer it may be considered. In a nutshell A "little" video game that stays, literally, boy. NOTE: * C * – a "shoot everything you see" competent, fun at times but it remains flat because of its lack of variety.

Run ' n ' gun very fast and fun, full of nice quotes and giveaways (obvious from the name) to the prince of this genre, Metal Slug. The graphics are made with a graceful pixel art "Nes-inspired" full of details, while the gameplay runs away frantically destroying antennas and slaughtering hordes of enemies. Unfortunately often, this frenzy becomes chaos, and this is the biggest weakness of Gunslugs 2: In the Baraonda of evil minions and flying shots on the screen, it is not always clear what hits our character and why this die horribly (fortunately not there is The severe regime of one shot-one kill that reigns in Broforce and Metal Slug, but there is a life bar). To give a quick example: in the third level (the Amazon) the enemy antennas that we must destroy are infested with rats, and these are also discreet damage. Well, these rats are gray triangles of about 3 pixels, and before you understand that they were killing me I had to sacrifice several spawn among litanies of blasphemy and a growing sense of frustration, Also do not understand why the levels have changes " Random "Every time I restart them: a choice of design made perhaps to add a" rogue "element to something that Rogue is not, but that in fact only makes it more rognosa and annoying the challenge. Finally, the unfortunate choice to set the pause on the B key of controller 360: Here too blasphemes burst in the moments of the most challenging challenges. NET of these flaws (which however are not insurmountable bugs but features that make a slightly steeper learning curve anyway Bassina), remains a solid and well-made game, which can give good fun to those who love Sparacchioni Two-dimensional: thumbs up, especially if you find it bundled or discounted.
