Gutter Gum

Gutter Gum is based on my experience as a local kid running out to the street in the rain to race leaf ‘boats’ in the rushing gutters with my Dad. 

The design was heavily influenced by local flora and fauna prominent in the Wet Season.

Without a Calendar Territory Kids can tell you:

Dragonflies = The Dry Season 

Cicadas = Christmas is around the corner

Our goal was to tap into these seasonal cues to invoke the feeling of Christmas in Darwin without the stereotypical lights and decoration.

This is our first attempt at making a game together with Ben being the main Dev and with myself creating 3D assets for the first time to tackle design.  

We love how it turned out and hope you do too!
