About

Hacker Evolution: Untold is an indie-hacker puzzle game with a high focus on non-linearity and decision-making.

Gameplay

All gameplay is just clicking the objects on the screen and watching the computer code compile and in front of player's eyes. The game also features some keyboard input to choose between the targets to hack. There is a set of objectives in each level one have to accomplish for example — fool the security system, access the enemy servers and transfer the information from one device to another.
The game features real commands from programming on Linux.
There is also a highly customizable level creator, so the total amount of levels one may accomplish and come through depends on the other users.
There is also a money system introduced to the game with no meaning whatsoever — one cannot buy anything hacker-useful for them.

Plot

The developers got inspiration from multiple conspiracy theories and philosophical conceptions— this led to the narrative utilizing the theme of AI gaining control over the human race with the protagonist forced to conquer the mutinous robots. We play as Brian Spencer whose quest is to get unframed from the crime he did not commit. Not only androids are standing on the way of humanity, but the economic and political situation in the world keeps getting worse experiencing multiple crises.

It was nice but no longer running Windows 8 and Windows 10, the texts disappear and it crashes

Was about 7.5 out of 8 Hours fun. Due to the very short Playing Time, however, I would only recommend it if it is on Offer again. Unfortunately, the End has also come a little abruptly.

The Game is challenging, but it's a lot of Fun. If you look more closely at the Content, you can spend several Hours with the Game. It's not suitable for everyone, but it's a good Game for in between.

The Game is quite fine and (depending on Your Mood .. who likes the Species) also interesting. However, I would only buy it on Offer. And unfortunately, the Game on some of my Computers doesn't work (crashes after a few Seconds) on my Notebook it runs. I haven't figured out why so far-just that I'm not the only one with the Problem. As long as the Error exists, I recommend the first Part or the 3rd (Duality).

So, concerning hacker evoltion: untold {which I think, in the background, level comment will be +/-the same as for the others in the series if I do not enter the details). Interesting games for those who love the world of computer hacking in command line mode and not GUI. That you use more keyboard than mouse and you are comfortable with MsDos or the Linux bash Terminal. Then you might like it. After that, it's not worth a "Hacknet" (only game of the same style that I tested at the moment) but more interesting than the series "hacker zero, ect". In the background, it remains pleasant. Maybe not captivating enough because of a French translation absent, because for Hacknet, this French Pack has changed everything for my part! He managed to hang on to me and push me to finish the shot. Then it is true that everything must be perfectly done to the meter ready otherwise the level can not be passed. I know that it can annoy a lot of people as I could read but for me (my opinion), it bothers me because in this area (that of hacking, nothing should be left to chance, time counted us and traces follow us. So this lack of manoeuvre that grieves some people is for me a way to work rigorously. Graphics level, if you have a screen that exceeds 1200x1000, would not put it in full screen if you want a "perfect graphics". But the less realistic thing. This is for hacker evolution: untold: basically a game that, if you have 5 to 15 to spend and like me, you are curious and loved this style of play without expecting you to mounts-and-wonders, I advise you the series. Good to you.
