Hardcore Mecha is a very good surprise, even a real love at first sight, for mecha fans. Fast, dynamic, and technical in its combat, it's visually superb with a polished anime style reminiscent of 1990s Japanese productions. Every battle is a delight of precision and staging. The variety between colossal robot duels and on‑foot sequences brings welcome richness. The story, with serious writing and endearing characters, fits perfectly into classic Japanese mecha sci‑fi tradition. Some difficulty spikes and familiar tropes are minor flaws.
