In celebration of Harvest Moon's 20th Anniversary comes an all new Harvest Moon title for Steam! Harvest Moon: Light of Hope! The game encompasses twenty years of the spirit that have made the franchise what it is today!
Looking for a fresh start and some new surroundings, you set off on a voyage to begin your new life! Unfortunately, the weather has different plans, as your ship is hit by a monsoon, and goes down! You drift into a small harbor town, now in a shambles from the storm, where a young doctor named Jeanne saves your life. The town has essentially been deserted, but you're never one to back down from a challenge! It will be up to you to help rebuild the town and save the lighthouse...but it won't be easy! Nevertheless, with some hard work growing crops, tending livestock, and gathering materials for repairs, you will be able to make new friends, start a family, revive the lighthouse, and save the town, your new home!
• Collect important materials to rebuild the town and restore the lighthouse!
• Complete requests from villagers to unlock new areas and items!
• New and unique festivals, including the Dog Racing Festival!
• Learn to grow and mutate crops with user friendly UI and tutorials!
• Play as a boy or a girl, get married, and start a family!

Harvest Moon: Light of Hope reviews and comments

So here's my first Review ^-^ So I finished playing the Game around 12 Hours and the Story. Pros:-Finally, the Player has a few Emotions:D-No more Swapping of Tools, all automatically when you click on the things you want to work on-Animals are easier to feed-The small Tasks for the Villagers, but play Running burgers Get something for it and you can get friends with them faster-you get what you want, a Farm game-bring Fun to build the City-easier to find out what the Residents like because of their very pronounced Preferences-at Events you can still shop-the Residents are awake much longer so more Chances to hit the Negative-short and boring Story-The Tasks for the Story are simply colorless-The Mine ... God this Music just finished me psychologically, apart from that not changing music either, but always the same Cheerful music runs the one that tells you "Hey brings you the Ditch of every cm so you can find the ladder, Fun?" Totally the Horror-you get viiiiel too fast money, fishing At the Beginning so you can process Ore and done-Where is my Traverne please? : c-No Calendar, no Long-distance, You will be informed a Day before-events where you leave with someone will be given modestly a few Days before, but you are always alone with those called the other Villagers you do not see, destroy the Event and meet the Common Of the D Orfes-Whatever a Heart to see how well you get along with the Villagers is nu a Note from my Point of view real mega unnice-Much too little Villagers + selection, you just have 5 male Opportunities, 1 crazy who departs on Flowers mega and without not k Went his Life content, 2 crazy that stands On Fish and always falls over when he is hungry, 3. Crazier who is on animals, 4th Crazy Magician who always has to beat himself with the other, 5. Crazy Magician who is more than 100 Years old, so not the best Choice xD-Monotonous You can't have Clothes, any other hairdressing hair color, buy Furniture or its same, something like a Refrigerator etc you only get it if you upgrade, generally everything is only regulated by Money-dog + Horse you have to buy and you can't choose color-You can k A Rings or Amulets more Finden/moften-don't keyboard friendly (don't have a Controller and didn't want to buy a ^^ for it)-you have to guess a lot on your Own like that and that goes (or I'm just stupid xD)-find the Size differences ugly ... The one as big as a Tree is nu really doesn't have to be xD-the Spa Which ensures You get energy takes 100 Years, so worth buying more bread because you have enough Money anyway-the Animals always eat in the Morning so you have to wait until they are ready ...-The Pf You have to bring it to the Barn every time you have to go back to the Barn otherwise it is Insulted and can not ride on it instead of it running home by itself-Upgrading the Tools. I have no Idea why you need Flowers that only grow in a Conscience Seson ... Why Flowers for an Upgrade for a Hammer? O.o I have to say this Harvest Moon Part is a Disappointment and feels more like the Game isn't done yet. Clearly you get what you want. Farms, Animals and Love, but I expected far better as they had really nice Games. Unfortunately, their Games become more and more as if they just wanted to make Money from them without even going into the Ideas of the Fans. Even though I played 12 Hours, which means it can't be so bad, I find that a weak Performance is Harvest Moon More than just Money and farms. Events where you meet all The Villagers, people get to know more, the Minie is keen to go through without the Ears being completely raped, it has Fun to discover new things and and I lack the good Old Harvest Moon Mineral Down, there was more Love for Detai in there. So I can't recommend it for big Harvest Moon fans who (like me) are better used to, especially to Stardew Valley. Otherwise they haven't had much Experience, it's fine. Not that I would hate it completely, but as I said, better is used by the Creators of Harvest Moon. ^^
