HatQuest 2021

HatQuest 2021 is an endless runner with a randomly-generated map of obstacles set against a background of constantly-changing colour. The game is never the same twice; how long can you run for?

This was made for the GVE Summer Showcase 2021: Games Programming jam, and demonstrates some of the skills I learned over the course of my degree.

It was built in the Viscid Framework, which was my final year project, and took inspiration from both the original HatQuest made in 2019 and a more recent university project, Dream Runner. Information on all of these other projects can be found in my portfolio.
