Hauntify MR

Identify and expel evil spirits from your entire house. Turn your house into a horror game and experience evil spirits that will hunt you down. Hauntify MR is one of the most stress inducing mixed reality apps coming to the market; it is not for the faint at heart!

Hauntify MR can be played in any type of building including single or multistory! The player must setup their play space using the game's built in features to enhance their experience. With up to 500 x 500 meter area and a 100 meter max height tracking space used to set up your horror experience, the possibilities are endless! We want to give the player creative freedom to create a horror game and place props around their environment. Some ghosts can be summoned in player defined spawn points and other ghosts appear in completely random locations around your house. As you collect more relics, increasing dangerous spirits will be summoned.

Hauntify MR features fully dynamic AI that is capable of navigating your house. The different ghost types with have unique abilities.

IMPORTANT, before playing, make sure you read the instructions on how to set up your play space. Your experience will depend on how well you set up your play space and if you set up your headset to enable passthrough mode.

Type the following below in the custom command via side quest Run ADB commands:

adb shell setprop debug.oculus.experimentalEnabled 1

You will need type the command every time you reboot your Quest 2 or this feature just won't work. Instead of a Passthough AR game, you'll end up with a black background.

Please Note, this app is still very experimental, Future Oculus updates may impact the passthrough functionality of the game.

Only tested on the Oculus Quest 2 running v33.

Must have at least oculus fw version 32.

If you have a black screen during MR passthrough it may be due to Oculus update v34.  Support for v34 coming soon

Oculus is going to fix this issue in the next few days and the app will work again.
