Heat Guardian - is a hardcore top-down shooter with survival, horror and stealth elements in the cold post-apocalyptic world
The Cold killed most forms of life on earth. Civilization is destroyed. Survivors have to fight for their lives, environment is hostile, resources are limited and aggressive mutants are all around.
Your goal is to survive and find the legendary vault. A normal life might be behind its walls.
Storyline.
Single player campaign consists of 40 levels. The road to the vault is long. You will meet interesting characters, dangerous enemies. You will visit frozen lakes and murky catacombs.
Recognizable setting.
Everlasting winter after the Apocalypse that killed most people. The story takes place in an alternative future on open spaces of undetermined CIS country.
Hardcore.
You cannot run for too long in the cold. The number of enemies is vast and the number of bullets is scarce. What to do? Die time after time, sharpen your shooting skills and reaction speed.
Cold’s mechanics.
Cold makes the game more hardcore. It is dangerous to be outside for too long: the hero freezes, loses health and stops running.

Product received for free a very interesting game with a gameplay that by the images I didn't think it was going to be so much fun, we are rescued by a group of survivors in a post-apocalyptic world in which the cold is the big problem, but also the mutants Is! Hi, I had been following this game since it was passed on Greenlight and I was expecting something not too bad, especially as the demo of the game only foreshadowed good. Unfortunately, from this demo, there's not much of a positive thing left.
Indeed, if the first minutes of the game benefit from a successful post-APO atmosphere and a whole gameplay quite nervous, the result proves finally disappointing both the technical finish is overall to the picks.
You will have to do with slowdowns and drops of abyssal FPS, forcing you to restart the game to be able to regain optimal comfort of use. The inventory, meanwhile, is completely bugged and a simple change of weapon will quickly turn into a technical disaster, especially since you will often have to change equipment in full combat, then making the action confused as possible.
The scenario, if there is one, fits on a handkerchief and the grip of our protagonist, although not free of defects, is rather simple and effective.
Special mentions however to the music and the sound effects that are still good Bill.
