I Had long wanted to buy this game, so when playing for a while and discover that leaves much to be desired, my disgust has been major. Visually It is very interesting, trying to emulate graphics of consoles and PC Noventos. Unfortunately, animations, cutscenes and others work with the fluency of UE4, so much of the charm is lost. The post-processing camera with dots adds nothing to the game. We appreciate the variety of enemy models, whose designs are not bad at all. The sound is noticeable at some points and painfully amateur in others. Some moments of the game show environments and sounds very successful, while others have ambients that do not loopean well or loops excessively short that become repetitive. Where The game dies is in the gameplay. Stealth mechanics are so obtuse that I think they are non-existent and enemies only work by line of sight. It Seems that hiding in some places applies a vignetting and you are hidden, but I have not managed to find a single situation where it can be used. An enemy sees you? You better be able to bend a couple of corners quickly or you won't have a way to get it off. The absence of checkpoints in the sub-objectives of the segments makes it have a component trial-error that makes fear become frustrating and frustration quickly become boredom. The variety of enemies is only visual, they all do the same thing: chasing you and hitting you, two blows, you're out and touch to start the segment again. In short, a striking visual section and a sound section somewhat scattered brutally ballasted by a simple gameplay to the abhorrent.

(A detailed Impression of the Game can be obtained here: Does this do what?-Helltown) A little Horror Game that is cheap, but still not so bad. As a new Postman, you come to a Small Town where everything looks beautifully colorful and harmonious and People wear a wide Grin on their Lips. Very soon you realize that something is completely wrong here ... The Game brings the menacing Small Town Atmosphere over pretty well at first, but unfortunately has a few Problems: 1. The Game disintegrates into two Parts. In the first, quiet part you get to know the City, the second Part is Then survival horror and consists of a Sequence of Areas where you are hunted by different Monsters that you can't defend yourself against. It would have been much better for the Game if quiet Passages alternated with Survival horror. Instead, as soon as the Horror begins, it continues to the End without Interruption and thus seems rather tiresome over Time. 2. The Game is unfortunately quite short, in about an Hour and a half you should be through. There are different Endings, so you have a Reason to play through it again, but personally I couldn't motivate myself to play the same Horror sections again. 3. Some of the Monsters chasing you look abundantly ridiculous. But the Game offers an unusually large number of different Monsters. Most of the other Horror Games of this Price Range have only one, with Helltown there are so many that I didn't count anymore. That a few of them have not succeeded so well is therefore, in my Opinion, not so important. So Helltown is far from perfect, but still offers a mostly good Atmosphere and, above all, a Lot of oblique Ideas that have surprised me time and time again and kept my Interest awake, so that I could ultimately overlook the Weaknesses. For the low Price you can take a look at Genrefan.
