Here in my Room
About
Originally, I saw this as a text-based game. The player would engage with manipulated typography as the story progressed into deterioration. Because of the connections between this and my other title missing.jpg, I felt bitsy would work well.
This has been something I've wanted to write about for months: mulling over memories and photographs and old writings. As I age, the fascination I have with life's mundane and melancholic moments grows stronger. Call it sentimentality I suppose, but I enjoyed creating this, even if the second act becomes a bit more poetic than I initially intended.
Lastly, I must give credit, again, to pixsy for being able to compensate for my lack of artistry and some other hacks like bisty muse ui for allowing music to be implemented into these projects. The song, which I somewhat altered, is "Clair de Lune," which can be found here via Orange Free Sounds.
