Hexagon Defense reviews and comments

Translated by
Microsoft from Deutsch
"Hexagon Defense" is a tower defense Game. From an isometric Perspective, we look at a Playing field consisting of Hexfields. The power core to be defended clearly shows its Condition as a Percentage. In the bright Fields we can build. We first have to build an energy-generating Field and then we can set up various Defensive Fields-such as Lasers, which can later also be upgraded. In doing so, we should make sure that the Color of the Tower is as close as possible to the Color Of the next Enemy Wave, because the more Damage our Weapons cause. In order to be able to act tactically, the Shapes and Colors of the next two Waves are always displayed. However, the actually good and innovative concept Variance Of the Genre fizzles out quite quickly. Hiring a modern Resolution is already proving impossible. The subinformation to the individual Towers, which is spongy due to the poor resolution, because small and obliquely arranged, is hardly readable. You can zoom in, but what turns out to be cumbersome. You can also scroll far outside the Pitch without Any problems, which meant that I could not find the Playing field again several times. In General, the Game is unnecessarily cryptic at the Beginning. Although there is a Kind of Tutorial, it offers far too unclear explanations, especially for the first Steps, because one is overwhelmed with the unusual Presentation alone. So it's time to try it out and see through the often unfortunate Design. Who comes to the fact that three of the most important Keys for The Selection Of the building Categories are three tiny, inscribed Third Hexagons At the bottom, which are more likely to Be decoration. I know that this is mentioned in the Tutorial, but at a Point where it is not yet possible to understand which of the Functions described do exactly. Even if you have once climbed through, the Game is only very limited Fun, because in the Core it is nothing more than a very ordinary tower defense Game with light variants. This is also due to the fact that it remains unclear who you really are, why the Opponents partly resemble flying Discs of Some Worms. You don't know for whom and especially what to protect the power core. And it is because of the idiosyncratic Aesthetics, which may somehow remind you of classic Games, but just remain ugly today. Even the Music can't really convince. Rating: 3/10 Atmosphere 0/10 Story 3/10 Graphic 4/10 Sound 3/10 Game Mechanics 2/10 Balancing 3/10 Game Pass Conclusion: Pretty Daunting. 3/10 Overall Rating
