Hexaloric

This is my entry for the Official Smile Game Builder Summer 2022 Game Jam by AmalgamAsh. 

You play as a young Wizard named Luke, whose goal is to collect different types of Elemental Crystals and combine them to create Monsters that can help him in battle. 

You can have up to 3 Monsters to fight alongside you. There's a total of 20 different Monsters, so try different combinations to get different kinds. You'll only be able to create 5 or 6 in total with the amount of Crystals available on this demo, and depending on how you use them. So you can get different teams on a new playthrough.

Enemies appear on the overworld. There are no random encounters. If you choose to escape a battle (except Boss Battles), you'll be transported to safety at the entrance of that area.

There are no save points, you can save wherever you want. You can heal at your house or at the Inn (for free).

Future updates will include proper animations, better graphics (colors), 3 new areas, the conclusion of the story, and more!
