Higurashi Kakera

Visual Novel Game with RPG sections.  Homage to Deen Animation of Higurashi as it retells stories as well as new ones, with different endings and choices.  You play various characters in attempt to stop a girl Rika from dying.  But a strange paranoia that cause even the mundane to look dangerous and monsters to appear helps complicate the task.  Besides various chapters, there is a free-play failed world area to gain xp, gear and unlock characters.  As you complete chapters, new chapters unlock and treasures appear in other chapters to help replay of different endings.  Each character has their own playstyle and types of gear.
