Hippoxxus

Hippoxxus is a Sci-Fi Metroidvania set on an alien spaceship where all upgrades are guns.

Explore different interconnected rooms: all filled with enemies and traps, which are brought to life with traditional 2D frame-by-frame animation.

Game Features:

• Heal Mode: Shooting enemies will fill a bar, which will provide health upon completely filling it but it comes at a cost of slow fire rate.

• Map Fragments: Acquiring each fragment will reveal a certain part of map and only upon collecting all fragments will the player's location would be revealed.

Hippoxxus is still in development and may contain bugs, please report any bug if you find one, it will help with development.

Game has not been tested on Mac and Linux so if it is working please let me know in the comments.
