Only buy this game if you are a fan of homestuck/hiveswap the game is very short and, honestly, I think it is just there to make us wait for hiveswap Act. 2. The drawings are not frankly as well done as in Hiveswap, the decorations and expressions of the perosnnages are not diversified, as well as the background music. Honestly, like you want to make a scene a little sad or pathetic with always the same music, surout that of Diemen, but I chipote I hope that the characters will be more developed in the suite of Hiveswap or Hauntswitch because, there.. ain't much. Otherwise I had a good time and I blew my nose more than once, I wait to see the sequel! Edit Tome 2: slightly less well than the previous one and a little short but still pleasant. Edit Tome 3: so there! Frankly this is super cool, although there is only one music per road...

Hiveswap Friendsim is a "Visual novel", or an interactive story, based in the world of Hiveswap and, at the same time, Homestuck. This game, released on the occasion of the 9 years of Homestuck, puts you in the skin of the reader of MSPaintAdventures (https://www.homestuck.com/images/advimgs/ps/ps1529_1.gif). You just crashed on the planet Alternia, populated by an alien race named trolls, in a very poor state. Your only goal: to make a friend. You will have the choice between two characters with whom to discuss, arData and Diemen, with very different personalities. You can choose how to act with them a few times, and your choices will impact the end you get. So yes, this game is pretty short: you can easily buckle it in less than thirty minutes. That said, it costs only 99 cents, and should receive DLC to have a little more content. It is quite evident that this game has been released only to complement the General history of Hiveswap, and to give elements on the life of the trolls and on their history, because Yes, they should make their appearance in Hiveswap at one time or another. There is not really much to say about this game, except that the graphics are successful and in the theme of Hiveswap, the music is very good and the writing, directed by Andrew Hussie, is also very well made and sticks to the atmosphere of Hiveswap. The major drawback being the length of the game, but can we really ask for a lot of a game at less than one euro? Oh yes, and the game is not available in French, so I highly recommend to have a good level of English if you want to buy this game. And also to have played the first act of Hiveswap.
