Hole'd: A VR Wall Dodging Game
About
THIS GAME WILL NOT FUNCTION WITHOUT VR INPUT
Hole'd is a Hole-In-The-Wall style Virtual Reality game in which the player must duck and weave through different stages containing a selection of increasingly difficult walls flying towards them, all while being intensely watched by the onlooking crowd of goblins and their leader the Goblin King.
This game has been developed in a group of three Year 13s at Burnside High School throughout the year for a Level 3 game design course. It has been both a passion project and a learning experience.
The game's main menu takes a VR-playground style approach, allowing the player to teleport around and interact with some objects and buttons before loading them into the real game.
The wall dodging section of the game consists of the player being placed within a large colosseum-like arena, with goblins filling the stands, and their King sitting directly in front of the player's position, sending waves of walls toward the player.
