After I already had the Game on the radar at the last Sale, I struck at the 2nd sale. Retrooptics and Game ideas made me curious and I thought to myself, "Mhhh, can this be good or does it look good But total scrap." After rushing the unfamiliar Controls, I quickly realized that this Game isn't just about senseless Carnage. No! You really have to think about how best to master a Level. For example, if you Throw a Knife into the Chest for the 1 Opponent in order to eliminate it silently in order to pick up his Pump gun unnoticed by the other enemies who are in the other Room. Then you wait until the Enemies stand patruing in the other Room in such a way that you can kill them one after the other before they target you. Apart from the Challenge, there are humorous Dialogues (pseudostory), creative Killing possibilities, a coherent Design and a hammer-horny Soundtrack (!!!). All of This leads to an incredibly high Fun Factor. I wasn't sure for myself what the Game will be like, but I'm glad to have spent just under €2 on the Fun. And before you think further about what would be for you, strike if you have even a little interest in it, because YOLO; P UPDATE: So habs now finished played after nearly 1 Year and can only confirm my good Impression of the Game. Have not yet unlocked everything and not mastered all the Levels on "A +" (Perfect). But this is gently hammer Heavy. I'm already Looking forward to Hotline Miami 2 coming out this Year.

Story: The Protagonist [or Antagonist (?)] XY (no Idea what he's called, it's not mentioned in the Game either.) regularly gets calls that lead him to a Scene where he's supposed to kill all the Person. There's Not really more Storycontent. It may be a little more enlightened in the End, but this is all inconclusive. While there's a little Bit of Elucidation after the biker missions, this is all full of Logic Gaps and is just an alternative Ending. The Setting of this Game is really great though. Gameplay: The Gameplay is really good. There are several Ways to get to the Situation or wipe out its Enemies. This is how a better Replay Value develops. Unfortunately, the Autoaim makes some Situations too easy, but this one is also optional. Overall, though, the Gameplay really Makes you feel good. In the Game you can also wear different Masks that can simplify Situations. Unfortunately not all masks as a few Are really useless. The Enemy's Hit boxes at Firearms are sometimes a bit bugged, but they don't really make the Gameplay down. Presentation: I can't actually handle the Pixelart graphic style, but here at Hotline Miami I think it's really great, as it's still adorned with garish Colors and a few effect gizmos. Everyone can see It differently now, but I think so. Plus, I like the Gore in the Game. The Soundtrack is very bass-heavy, doesn't everyone have to like it, but it fits the Game. The Game is actually bug-free and well optimized. EIGENTLICH, as there are a few visual Bugs, such as interlocking Sprites or missing Animations. Didn't Come up too often, though. Verdict: Hotline Miami is a short (6h long about) and good Top-down game that's really worth it for its Purchase Price. (€10, if it's in Sale, you usually get it for 2-5 Euros)
