Hyperwell

Hyperwell is a 2D space shooter in the same vein as classics like R-Type and Gradius but with RPG adventure elements such as an open world, an engaging story, character progression and lots of cool loot and equipment to find! Outfit and upgrade you ship, or buy a new one, each handles a bit differently and may require a different play style. Use your pixel starship to travel and explore the universe in glorious 2D style! 

Outside the main story you are free to play and explore as you like. Be a trader and haul cargo and take on passenger missions, be a pirate and hunt down traders for profit or explore the furthest reaches of the galaxy and discover hidden secrets and anomalies. Recruit escorts to help you out, or play as a fighter escort yourself. The choice is yours!

Hyperwell is in active development with a planned release on PC/Steam during late 2021 or 2022 and hopefully a Nintendo Switch version further down the line.
