To be honest, I think the story is well written. I May be missing some more development in the context of it and Grace is more than just a motivation, but I have enjoyed the strange element that surrounds it all The great BUT It is the game system. The scenarios are long and everything requires hundreds of rides. If It is a argumentative choice to symbolize the hard and long process by which the protagonist passes, I respect but do not share. After all it is a game and for more than half the time you spend playing, it is not entertaining. The puzzles are basic and interesting events mostly.
I recommend it as long as the story matters more than the game system.
