I Need A Hero!: A Super-Powered Dating Adventure

Do you wake up every morning wishing you could don a cape and fight crime? Do you go to bed wishing someone hot would date you? Do you want both of these things at once? Well, have we got a game for you!

I Need a Hero!: A Super-Powered Dating Adventure is the game for all the superhero lovers and superhero lovers out there. Fight crime! Meet cute heroes! Defeat wacky villains! Make friends and enemies!

-Gameplay combining a visual novel with a light turn-based RPG

-Attractive heroes and one smoking hot villain

This game was created by UCLA students (+ 1 UCSD student--thanks, Albert!) over two quarters of school as a part of ACM Studio's Winter/Spring 2020-2021 Game Project. Please keep in mind that this game is still in development, so it may not be perfect, but we have worked very hard on it and hope you enjoy it! 

MORE UPDATES WILL BE COMING SUMMER 2021

This includes fixing major bugs, adding art, adding planned dialogue we didn't get to,  an overhaul of combat to reflect what we originally intended it to be, and adding features. The current version of this game you see is the version presented at the ACM Studio UCLA Spring Showcase, which was our deadline for the project.
