I Will Not go to Mars

This is a Twine game that I created, built off of a short story that I wrote. The story is based off of Shirley Jackson's 1948 The Lottery.

The story takes place in a futuristic world where Earth has ran out of resources to survive, resulting in most of the population evacuating to Mars. Not all could go and not all wanted to go. Communities emerged from the people left behind, and each community found its own way to survive on Earth. In this story you play as a lead character in an already established community who has difficult decisions to make in order to keep surviving on Earth.
