Well, what can I say ... The Game was included in a Humble bundle and I really didn't promise much of it though I like fishing Simulations in general ... Provided they are well done. Ice Lakes initially looks rather Amatorial, but over time you will discover the Qualities of this Game. The Fish seem to be at least found in realistic Places, the Bait makes Sense and you can buy quite a lot of Accessories with the In-game currency you can earn. There are many Game Modes, including Tournaments (Multi-level Competitions) as well as an Online Mode where you can squat on the Ice together with several People, see in the Chat what the others have just caught and can chat with them. The Game seems to have been created by real Fishing fans, since eg. Also noted in the Description of the Sturgeon is that it is an endangered species of animal and you should only hunt it virtually. The Fish you catch Are provided with Life-like Textures and depending on the Weight of the Catch, the Size of the Fish, which you ultimately pull from the self-drilled ice hole, also falls. I wouldn't have spent 15 Euros on this Game, but packed in the Sale or in a Bundle you can't do much wrong if you want to have a solid Fishing Simulation.
