Ice Station Vostok

Thank you for checking out my submission to The Pen & Paper Game Jam and my very first submission to ich.io!  Please see the uploaded files section for the latest version of the rules.

This game is a take on the cooperative genre of tabletop games.  The theme of extreme weather is exhibited through the lack of discussion during gameplay, due to bad communications, and the removal of played cards, due to bad environmental conditions.  Players must best estimate how their moves will contribute to the stability of the research station.  

By the end of the game, supply delivery must be balanced between all areas of the station.  Additionally, there are bonus scoring rules for players looking for some extra challenge.

Vostok is meant to be played with materials most people have available.  The rules call for creating a new board from a piece of paper with each play.  Use it repeatedly!  Enjoy seeing your own little base succeed or fail.

N.B. The specifications of the project call for writing the rules on paper and uploading images.  My writing is both slow and ugly!  I chose to upload a pdf so you'd all actually get to read the rules.

N.B. There was an extreme lack of playtesting in this submission due to time constraints.  If you play and find an extreme difficulty, please let me know!  I will update this project with balances and fixes as often as possible.
