I'll Take Your Word For It

DESCRIPTION

This game is a short word-based puzzle game about a simple thief defeating the tyrannical rat by stealing, and joining words together.

This game was made for the GMTK Game Jam 2021. The theme was: Joined Together

CONTROLS

A D - Left & Right

Spacebar - Jump

E - interact

Left Mouse Button - Steal a word / Switch a word

BEHIND THE PROCESS

This game is the product of 3 first time game devs attempting their first game jam together. We're overall very happy with how it came out, even if it might seem rather small. I believe all of the team involved with making this game is happy with the experience, and would love to take it further!

And talking about bring the idea further, this game is a short slice of a much larger idea. We may work to polish, and extend the duration of this title considerably and turn it into a full-fledged experience in the future.
