Illuminate is a game with a goal of showcasing to youth the effects of climate change and the actions we can take to combat climate change. You are first presented with the task of helping Canada lower carbon pollution and prepare communities for the impacts of climate change. Afterwards, you will visit multiple communities within Canada and help them adapt to the challenges brought on by climate change. You are able to keep replaying the game to explore the multitude of outcomes that your choices have.

Illuminate was developed by researchers and advisors from the Interdisciplinary Centre on Climate Change (IC3), the Games Institute, and alumni from the University of Waterloo.
