Product received for free "at the same time very bizarre and full of positive waves, the illuminating experience offers you to play a small character in a 2D area or you can, with a simple pressure the bar space/on the button A of your controller, break b LOCs to make your way through the darkness. You will encounter other symbols mainly letters, each of which will emit a different sound echo when you touch them. Some symbols are however to be avoided! These big A, the 0 that go to you and other unlikely enemies are to flee. Unless you succeed in seeing them fight each other?
Illuminates is not a great game, but it is artistically very amazing. Far from being pretentious, he manages to entertain without necessarily forcing the understanding of his universe, even if it is deeper than one can believe in the first approaches. It is a game that is highly advisable for those who love peaceful experiences, die & retry and play headphones to escape in non-goal, but rhythmic sounds. "

Product received for free in almost 100 minutes, I realized that this game was really nice.
illuminates, it is a rather peculiar rogue-like. We appear in an open world where there are some pillars here and there, in the skin of a special character (at the sign, Japanese character, etc...)
At first glance, there is nothing. Then we approach one of the pillars, we break it, and BAM! We make the environment appear dynamically, which ends up looking like a big, pretty labyrinthine structure when you type other walls.
In the course of exploration, we fall on books, and we take them. At each end of the game, we understand that these are objects necessary to unlock the elements of play such as karma, the path (more precisely the kinds of objectives described quite vaguely to accomplish in the game), the seasons, etc...
. We then put in the lead to recover them: they are indicated by waves and sound effects very distinct.
Then, we fall on various enemies, with precise patterns, as well as on friends: we must know how to use the environment to infiltrate, flee, manipulate our opponents to make them confront... And we understand then that illuminates offers lots of possibilities to manage a single situation! One can darken recklessly in the heap and improvise on the blow, break walls to have a better view of the situation at the risk of being spotted, etc, etc...
Even better! Against all odds, this game seems to lay the foundations for various questions about sociability, interaction with others. Nothing but the name of certain objectives listed by the path shows it as "understand the reason for their aggression", "appease", etc... ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥-♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ I like to say "etc"!
So certainly, the game will inevitably become repetitive after several runs. Of course, it can be frustrating to get brutally killed right from the opening of a passage (it happened to me several times, but often I was heading down, inevitably). But just for its unsuspected complexity, I recommend illuminates, which offers a really interesting vision of the rogue-like.
