Impasto (Early Access)

Q: What does early access mean for this game?

A : The game is fully content complete, but certain areas may be lacking polish. There may be bugs or issues throughout the game. The game has not yet been performance optimized for all computers, so certain machines may have difficulty running the game. As we are a student team, we will NOT be adding any new content, only improving and fixing what is already here in preparation for a full release. 

Q: When will these issues be fixed?

A: We are aiming for a full release (as well as launch on Steam) for late June or early July, 2022.  We will be working hard on fixing issues and performance optimization in the meantime, and will be regularly posting updated builds and build information to this page. 

Q: Why do I need to download the game from Google Drive?

A: The game is larger than itch.io's file size limit of 1GB. I've sent in a request to itch.io's support team to allow us to upload a larger file, but in the meantime the only way to allow people to play it is through a Google Drive link. As soon as we are granted larger file size permission by itch, we will replace the external download with an itch.io download.
