In a Quiet Town

Solo entry for the 3 hour game jam: Trijam #171. There's a few more screenshots of the process on my twitter. Pretty happy with how it turned it, but I would've liked to implement the "Watch Your Step" theme more directly. As it is, I wanted to make the player feel like an unwelcome outsider, watching their back for the town's hostile inhabitants as much as the Jersey Mothgoat himself.

I ran out of time to come up with my own music as well as flesh out the town a little more, which would've been next to add. I also wanted a more fleshed-out puzzle for opening the Mothgoat's tomb but I worked on building game/assets itself rather than design and planning at the start. The latter should've had more focus, so in the next jam I'll be trying to focus more on planning and design at the beginning.
