This Twine game was made as a student submission for a game design course at Wits University in 2020.
in ecstasy's name is a Twine which places the player in the position of a person who is using substances to deal with the emotional weight and complexities in ending a relationship with an abuser; a documentation of that weird kind of "mourning". The story being portrayed here is not in any way intended to be a representation of all cases of abuse and addiction, it is merely one perspective.
