Indie Pogo reviews

This game is great. the automatic jump mechanic works very well and forces us to think about the movement we need to do. the characters are varied and unique, none are similar to near or far, more new characters will be implemented in the game. the solo content may be a little poor but remains pleasant with rather original challenges. There is also a very active and friendly community on the discord of the game.

It is difficult to make a place in the genre "game-fighting video with platforms", what is usually called the "Smash Bros." like ", both the series created by HAL laboratory has marked the spirits, and has been able to propose a solid concept and, since the time, perfectly oiled. I do not like much when, on steam, I see a game that tries to reproduce the atmosphere of an old game by vaguely changing some rules. Some people don't even take that trouble. I have not played rivals of Aether, but if I take the example of Brawlout, I do not see so much what this license has to bring more to the genre. I love that a game innovates, I like that a game offers me a universe and especially, especially, effective gameplay. Indie Pogo it's not, for me, Smash Bros. with a "mandatory permanent jump" mode. The developers, having probably sought to stand out by this unusual gameplay, have gone to the end of their idea, and for having made several games online, I can assure that if the reduced number of moves available can scare, the fights can be and dynamic, varied and balanced. Beyond the classic arcade mode, we find a challenge mode, which is reminiscent of the event mode of smash, which offers quite original and sometimes well-corsed challenges, which is not unpleasant. To date, the online is quite empty, but a discord allows to find a match in less than a minute (and the atmosphere is very good, there are even French). Other modes, internships and characters are coming, free of charge, which is a significant asset, must be said. I like indie Pogo this general feeling that makes you feel that the developers have put all their love of independent games in their creation. All the movement outfits of playable characters are all a reference to the universe to which they belong. The many trophies to unlock allow to (re) discover many small rare pearls. Indie Pogo represents the universe of independent play as I appreciate it; original and passionate. I can only advise you to try it. Don't be frightened by the hopping gameplay, it scared me at first, but it's definitely worth it. I'm going back.
