Infernal City for MATTEL AQUARIUS

You must drive your car through a large city from south to north, navigating a maze of anonymous intersections with occasional restrictions on turning left, right, or going straight ahead.

Fortunately, you have a compass to keep you on course, but it breaks down after a while, so you need to note your changes in direction on paper.

But there are other troubles waiting for you: flat tires, carburetor breakdowns, the risk of running out of gas, and fines.

There are, of course, garages and banks along your route to refuel or withdraw money, but you have to find them when you need them.

Requires a 32 Kb memory expansion.

Controls:

• D: ⇑ drive straight ahead.
• X: ⇐ turn left. 
• C: ⇒ turn right.  
• Spacebar: stop and interact with people or businesses in the street.

To load the game on an emulator: (Aqualite)

• Press RETURN to start BASIC.
• Type: cload
• Press RETURN to start loading.
• Load the file _city.caq
• Then type: run
• Press RETURN to start loading.
• Load the file city.caq
• Now you can play!
