a broken game about broken things

join max and emily on this surreal journey by the creators of other things. waking up in a mysterious cell with no recollection of how they got there, our dynamic duo begin their escape from this odd place called the other region. along the way, they meet a philosophizing robot that plays golf, living ice-cream, and the physical manifestations of love and hate themselves. along the way, they grow connected and learn more about themselves and each other blah blah blah. but will this be enough to escape from the grasp of the bizarre and evil forces within the other region?

complete with an atmospheric soundtrack, witty dialogue, surreal imagery, a uniquely expressionistic art style inspired by my inability to draw, and a rather terrible 720p resolution, ink spots (incomplete) is sure to be an experience that’ll make you say, “that was a half of an experience; where's the other half of the vn, bitch” (currently sitting on a partially borked hard drive, meaning i'll have to redo a shit-ton from the ground-up, so sorry)

CONTENT/TRIGGER WARNING: contains frequent swearing; fairly bloody and frequent violence which is mostly dampened by the cartoony art-style; several deaths from various causes; occasional yet minor and non-explicit sexual themes; and last but not least, a lengthy sequence involving domestic abuse
