This is my entry for Gdevelop's 2nd game jam - themed around pets/companions - I've had these characters in my head for a long time but everything else including the music and all of the assets were created by me in the time span. I had to rush the graphics a little because I used placeholders for EVERYTHING up until there were only 48 hours left OTL not doing that again!!
I didn't quite get where I wanted but I'm really happy with what I did get done - there was going to be an intro cutscene + a cutscene introducing Claire properly to establish the world and the characters a bit more, but I really wanted to focus on gameplay first.
There is also a mechanic I didn't get to explain whatsoever - if one of your party members gets knocked out, you can pick them up with "Z" and haul them back to a checkpoint to revive them!
I might expand on this in future, I have a lot more ideas and a lot that could be polished.
