Iteration (morphinegames)

Iteration is a game about improvement through repetition created for the Extra Credits Game Jam (#extragamejam). The theme of the jam is "Cycles"

Gameplay

In Iteration, you have the ability to respawn yourself but the actions of your previous run will still occur. For example, in your first iteration, you might walk across the room and press the button. Respawn and you can wait until your ghost pushes the button and then walk across the activated platform safely.

In addition to the player, objects in the world can also iterate. For example, 

You can be affected by past iterations but you cannot change them.

Controls

The controls in Iteration are very simple

Move Left/Right: A/D or Left/Right Arrows

Start New Iteration: Up arrow/W key/Tab key

Restart Level: R key or Down arrow

Main Menu: ESC

Iteration was developed using the following tools
