It's How You Care That Counts

The tree of life is thousands of years old...
It has long been tradition for all younger folk to take care of the this tree, and in doing so they will learn the consequences of their actions. 

You pickup items like the key & food with 'E'. You drop items with the 'R' key (important)

• The main game loop is to use the Golden Statues lying around to collect food. 
interacting with them with the 'E' key will start growing food from the statue (feel free to spam the key till it pops out ~)
• Next you take the different types of food and drop it beneath the tree and watch it set ablaze, fertilizing the tree of life till it is all full and the bar resets.
• Proceed to the ancient anvil and activate it when close with the 'E' key. Watch for the falling crystal :)
• Incase you haven't noticed, the tori gate in the middle leads down to a basement, you will need to keep the crystal for this. drop the crystal and pickup the key to the left of the door, and bring the crystal inside, dropping it on the summoning alter.
