iZBOT
About
Set in the not too distant future, robots have finally overcome the tyranny of human enslavement. A peaceful robot existence is now at threat from a mysterious organic invasion that has been spotted within the city. It's up to our hero, iZBOT to rid the lands of the dirty, unpredictable organic infestation.
Our plucky little robot manages to blend the rage induced controller throwing with the perfect amount of level beating satisfaction. You’ll need to employ advanced death avoidance techniques to master the game and defeat the organic's evil (and somewhat annoying) leader Bedlor.

The ultimate retro platformer?
iZBOT is a Super Meat Boy Style platformer, but with a pleasant Retrostyle style achieved by a beautiful Pixel graphic, 8-Bit sounds and 8-Bit music. This Retro Style is also achieved by the fact that there is a high Degree of Difficulty – Fortunately, the Game has a good Difficulty curve. While iZBOT offers simple Levels at the Beginning, the Difficulty curve gets steeper and steeper as the game progresses and gets so heavy in the End that you can need more than 100 Tries for some Levels. I see This Difficulty as something Positive. Since the Levels are not extremely long, they are ideal for Speedruns, which are also supported by a Ranking in Steam.
In total, there are 60 Levels and 3 Boss Fights. These Levels are divided into 3 Parts: "Level 1," "Level 2" and "Level 3." A higher Number represents a higher Degree of Difficulty.
Now when we come back to the Sound and graphics, I have to say that the Sound sounds good and the Graphics look very nice, with some nice Details. In general, the Graphic Style is very pleasant and fits the Game. The Music, however, is rather mediocre, as this Is an Endless loop, which is annoying for a long Period of play – However, you can also see that the Game is designed for in Between, which you can also see in the already mentioned short length Of the Levels.
The Controls, on the other Hand, do very well in this game, provided you have a Controller. However, If you can only play with Keyboard and Mouse, the Controls are more difficult, but still pretty good. Of Course, you can also change the Key Assignment At any time.
By The way: The Game has a Size of just 9 Megabytes! This makes it also perfect for people who have absolutely no place left on their Hard Drive.
Pro: Gorgeous Pixel graphics Good 8-Bit sounds acceptable 8-bit music retro vibe comes on pleasant, customizable Control controller support short, challenging levels of Boss battles good difficulty curve Leaderboard Available (on Steam) Tutorial at the Beginning
Neutral: No German Translation Steam achievements available Steam collection cards Contra: Music is an Endless Loop conclusion: iZBOT is a classic retro platformer that boasts short, challenging levels and is very suitable for in Between. I recommend this Game to anyone who likes to play Platformer and is looking for a Challenge.
