A VN on the same principle as "Go Go Nippon! My Frist Trip to Japan". A young man, wanting to realize his dream of discovering Otaku culture, goes to study in the land of the rising sun. He meets two pretty girls on his first day of school. They show him around the city, discover Japanese culture, and there is romance in the air. We can display the text in Japanese and English at the same time. The graphics are very neat and the music is good. Still, I don't get hooked on the story at all. Maybe because I'm not a boy and I'm not "hooked" on anything about Japan. So it's hard for me to recommend it, but if you liked "Go Go Go Nippon! My Frist Trip to Japan", you will like Japanese School Life.

It's cute, but... The music takes the lead, the endings are banal and almost identical (I thought I had typed a neutral end at the beginning), the only interest lies in the little anecdotes scattered throughout the history that (re) learn about the traditions and the pretty sides of Japan, as well as some generalities on the Comiket. Nice, but no more. I would have enjoyed a hero less balls-busting, and a little more story... Deep? A game for those wishing to be confirmed that Japan is Sugoi, that the food is idle, that the Japanese are kawaii, all finished by a super hero WEEB, desu! I mean, play it, huh?

So Japanese School Life is a good VN. Took about 15h, +/-1 hour. The Story was 0815, Protagonist is an Exchange Student and meets the two Girls who are on the Cover. But there is a Difference between this UN and others. She explains the Culture of Japan in a rather detailed manner. So not only the Otaku Culture, but also the Festivals, customs and other Things. Japanese Food is Also explained. But let's finish. The End is so disappointing. Based on the Achievements, you think there are two Routes. Ha, that's not true. The Ends amount to the same, only that the Protagonist chooses the other Person as Motivation, depending on the Choice. There is nothing more to this than that. Verdict: Japanese School Life gets from me the Rating 7/10 story: 0815, but through many Explanations and Insights into the Culture better than average. Graphic: Beautiful Characters, good Backgrounds and successful CGs. (Even the Explanations usually get a Picture) Sound: Music fits well with the happening. Does not Distract, nor does it seem too weak. Voice: Taneda Risa speaks Honda Chiyoko, that's enough in response. (Sounds very good)
