Jesus Christ RPG deals with the period between the baptism and the transfiguration of Jesus Christ. Like many other Role Playing Games, this one features turn based battles. You also must undertake tasks as Jesus Christ, Mary Magdalene, Simon Peter and Judas Iscariot.

Mary Magdalene - a woman who was possessed by demons and later joins the party. She anoints Jesus and give him strength to fight even more battles against the forces of evil.
Simon Peter - "The Rock". He's a strong man who's Jesus' greatest ally. Nonetheless, he will also have his trials to overcome as his faith is tested against his self-preservation instinct.
Judas Iscariot - A misguided man who thinks too much of material things and loses sight of the big picture. His obsession with status and money-making prove to be his own downfall.

Plot More than 2,000 Years ago, many People believe, the Lord in Heaven sent His illegitimate Child to Earth to spread his Teachings.
Jesus Christ RPG Trilogy roughly describes the History of this Child, and in whole three Parts!
The first Part is about the Birth of Jesus, from the Maiden Production to The visit of the Three Kings to The flight from King Herod.
In the second Part, the twelve Apostles are gathered around you and a few Miracles are performed in total terms of juesusum.
Part three is about the Crucifixion and Resurrection of Jesus. In Between, you have to cross the nine Circles of Hell, save the innocent Souls who died before Jesus ' Birth and therefore stew in Purgatory (which sounds badly unjust) and ward off an Invasion of heaven.
The last Part sounds quite exciting. Can the Gameplay live up to that?
Gameplay The Short Answer: No.
The long Answer: The Gameplay is quite monotonous and desolate. You can get the best Weapons right at the Beginning, and then you are usually only busy with grinning. Most Opponents are defeated by one or two Strokes, so the Fights are not an exciting Affair, just a chore. Every now and then there is a Boss Who represents a Difficulty Spike, but if you have grinned enough is also the one Clack. If not, you can pack up.
If you're not busy sending Desert Predators and Sumerian gods to Hell, you're lapping through the Area to reach a Destination. Once you reach this, there is a new Destination and you keep slipping (or back).
