You wake up in a mysterious and dark world as a little shadow boy with bright, glowy eyes that illuminate the darkness, almost like a flashlight. As he feels the need to explore this world and illuminate the darkness throughout his journey as he unveils the secrets that the world holds. The boy has one goal in mind, to gain The “7 Emotions” as he wants to illuminate this world in colors and bring life to the dark lands but it brings life to things that shouldn’t be brought into the light that must be avoided at all cost. The boy will have to go through a journey on whether he should follow his goal or that the correct thing is to let the world stay as it is but that is “The Journey To Emotion”. What will you desire?

Key Features

‘Journey To Emotions’ is an 2D Platformer Game that takes on the classic pixelated art style. Inspired by other popular 2D Platformer Games such as ‘Hollow Knight’, Journey To Emotions takes on a similar approach, mainly focusing on the player’s skill and determination to get through the obstacle. The key features involve a ‘Double Jump’ mechanic which by name lets the player double jump to allow for great usage to get through the obstacles, going in line with a classic ‘Sprint’ mechanic, allowing the player to travel at a faster rate to get through obstacles or from someone...And finally a ‘Interact’ mechanic for the player to take in the 7 Emotions each time you find them to get through the game.

Hello, my name is Murphy, 18 years old and I am a rookie solo game developer. As you can see, I have been working on this game ‘Journey To Emotion’ for quite a while in development. With nearly a year of experience on game design and development on my belt, I have been able to create my first game thanks to the people around me that helped make this happen and this certainly won’t be the last as I will work on improving myself through time and commitment for this journey.
