Joy (SecondFavorite)

Joy lives under a cloud of sadness after the passing of her parents, but a call to action could turn her sadness into heroism ... if only she could stop petting the darn dogs.

This was my first game jam and I'm happy with how it's been.  My real worry is that this game won't run on any one else's computers - it's not optimized in any way, shape, or form.  I had to skimp on the ending and intro that I had planned because I ran into an issue (user error :D)

controls:
run: wasd
jump: space
camera control: mouse

Known issues:
-My collisions are terrible
-No sounds in menus
-no hit markers for dogs
-Ending not finished
-No pause Menu

Things I learned:
- all of it

Things I would change:
- better visibility of the dogs
-enemy ai randomness
- less "floaty" feeling jumps
- make UI items look better
-I had two more dog models that I didn't have time to retarget animations for
