Okay, either you like the Game and you look across the momentary Bugs or you don't like it. I try in detail and without a fan boy Babble to list the Points.
The Game has a Lot of Bugs at the Moment. Faulty Storage Levels, Water Units move ashore. The Monsters (the Monster) is sometimes a little hairy in Control. There is no Tutorial. Sound and other Effects cannot be regulated at the moment. It just goes on or off. One or the other Property to equip the Monster with is buggy. And every now and then a City doesn't fight back. I don't know if that was all, otherwise look into the bug thread.
Now comes the big BUT! Not everyone has these Problems. For Example, I myself am only affected by the water Units on Land. And... The Developers are very close to the Player and fix what the Stuff holds. Does that belong, you think? Far from it when you see some big Publishers.
What is the Game about. Based on the (I call him) Big-G, King of the Monster Godzilla, you create a Kaiju With your mad Scientist. A Monster. With this you wander over a map of the World And have to reduced Cities to Rubble. Again, a Warning. It degenerates a little into "grinden." But (my Opinion) it's worth it. Every City is different. Each City Level (Tier 1-...) has other Enemies ready for your Kaiju. All the way to the Super Tank or other mean stuff. So It's worth playing for more than 2 Hours in which (as other Reviews say) you've allegedly actually seen it all.
In addition, you must train them from the collected Resources of your Kaijus and build new And new better buildings in your Base. Warehouses, better Repair Stations, Research Laboratories, etc. and last but not least Defenses for your Base. For the Day comes when the Kaiju Defense Force hits back and attacks you.
This Game has much more Depth than it makes you seem at the Beginning.
Now a little fan boy ... I've been a Kaiju fan since an early Age and I've been playing on the Computer for 20 years (exclusively, that's why I can't judge similar Monster games for other Platforms) and I've always been waiting for a Game like that.
If you can live with a few Bugs, always slip into the Role of monster and have wanted to destroy everything that runs in front of your Feet AND wanted to do a little resource Management and Basebau, you are well served here.
With the current Work of the Community (all Fanboys and a few Trolls) as well as the very dedicated Developers, I see real Potential here.
You will get a Kaiju for your Money and you will (not infinitely But some, 3 are already scheduled) Kaijus, so there is also variety here.
As always my Tip, Grummel doesn't believe everything, but read all the Reviews and Browse the Community forum to the Game. Then make your Decision that To buy game or not.
For my Part, I have no regrets and look forward to many More hours of Destruction.
