Karate Master 2 Knock Down Blow reviews

Very fine retro Karate game. If You are still from the Amiga Age and played the Karate games of the time and may have Wished at that time: "Damn, but this Game is fun but has so little Content," here you will be delighted. 15-20 different Tournaments on a Map you can take part in, but before you have to earn either money or Reputation. The Combat System is extensive for such a 2D Examiner. You have to push Your individual Values like Speed, strength, etc., And there are over 20 different Mini-games for that. With Xbox Controller lets you control wonderfully. What else can be said on the fast? You might have a Fable for these Kind of Games, Newcomers might expect something more modern and then be disappointed, but you need to know that yourself;) I'm having Fun and I'm sure I'm playing more Hours now:)

7/10: Beautiful retro martial arts arcade RPG-Sim. The Aim is to train the Karateka Ken As champion, pass different Fights and Tournaments and earn enough Money for Ken to open his own karate school. The Fights get hectic and quite brutal, but if you don't know further, wild button-smashing helps. It is annoying that certain Techniques are not executable when playing the Game with the Keyboard, as more than 4 Keys need to be pressed at the same Time, which many Keyboards do not support. So some Areas in the Game are not accessible, as you have to master all the Techniques to get there. That would be easy to fix, but developers don't realize this is a design flaw or bug-as I said, annoying. Overall, it's really Fun, the Game breathes the Spirit of good old Carat films from the 90s, and doesn't stingy with appropriate Allusions. Among others, Chuck Norris and Chun Lee Make guest Appearances-how cool is that?

I played it through with the Keyboard, but a Joypad would be of Advantage if you wanted to run various Combos without your Fingers or Forearm hurting you after some Time. Only the Playing Time of less than 10 Hours comes a bit too short. This is made up of the training of the Character at Level 10, learn all the additional Fighting Techniques, all the battles won, Special Tasks and Tournaments on the Map + finally saving from Money to set up your own School. But You can also do without buying a Combat School and continue to fight all the Fights and Tournaments. You can also buy the School at any time, only that ends with the Acquisition, the Game.
