Keyflow

Keyflow is a typing practice program which tracks your flaws in typing consistency, and provides deliberately selected text to practice with, and help you improve where it matters most. It is particularly designed to offer you practice material for typing the keys where you typically slow down at or make the most errors with, helping you achieve better typing speed and consistency overall.

Your skill level is tracked and updated with each key-press, individually for each letter and symbol on the keyboard.

The following data is tracked:

• Average time to type each letter/character after the previous key-press (shown as Seek Time)
• Average time to move on from each letter/character (shown as Next Key Seek Time)
• Average speed (words-per-minute) for all letters/characters contained within each typed word (shown as Full-Word)
• Hits and misses are counted for each letter you type (shown as Accuracy)

Additionally, the program tracks your typing speed and accuracy for each completed lesson, and stores the average  All data is stored locally on your computer.

Based on the data available, text with frequent usage  of your problematic keys will be chosen whenever you start a new lesson. A summary of your improvement is shown after completing each lesson. Difficulty can be adjusted to include more er fewer characters to practice, or to prefer easier or harder quotes.
