I was Extremely surprised to see this game on Steam. In The first tried this game on the console Real 3DO, there this game I really liked and in general I believe that Killing Time is the best game for the console 3DO. However! PC version of this game pleased a lot less! In the first graphics, character models, and FMV inserts, the quality of sound and music, it all looks and sounds ugly compared to the version for 3DO! Well and now the main differences from the version for 3DO, models of enemies have been replaced and become more ugly in visual terms, models of hands and all weapons have also changed (in my opinion look not bad but definitely worse than the original), completely changed the LANSHFT, in the game became Many open Mesnosti which was not in the original, the manor itself became small and inconvenient in navigation, many locations were wildly stripped, now that would pass the game to collect all the winged Souda, there was a jump to which you have to Prinarravat, appeared New types of weapons (Molotov, ANC, etc.), I have seen bugs with the controller and music, just appeared the second ending, well, and perhaps the only plus PC version before 3DO is a large frame rate (assuming due to reduced graphics, resolution, locations, sound). In conclusion I would like to say, if you compare the PC version with the version for 3DO then the PC version loses almost everything! However, if you take the PC version as an independent game and do not contiguous with to the version for 3DO then this is a good first-person shooter with RPG and adventure. Should I take the PC version, my answer is definitely yes! Killing Time is a wonderful game with a good and interesting storyline, with magnificent and atmospheric music, with a good design levels and a decent variety of enemies. My verdict is PC version 7 of 10.

Features of the game: title: "Killing Time" issue: 1995/1996 Developer: "3DO Company", "Intrepid Software", "Logicware", "Jordan Freeman Group" graphics: "2.5 D" (semi-three-dimensional) engine: "Killing Time" Genre: Shooter (from 1st person), horror Features Gameplay: Style: Oldschool plot is served between episodes in the form of video (on the engine) saving at any time the world: the Arno-Koridorny levels in the game are not clearly divided between themselves (only through loading) health is not regenerated protection no limit on the transferable Weapon no penultimate boss is defeated by finding his vulnerability traps: the Abyss; Fire Deep Water Interactive Environment objects: switches, walls with illuminated images of beetles, pressed floor pads to activate locked doors and various mechanisms; Pedestal to activate locked walls with its images bonuses: blue, yellow, brown balls to replenish health; Red balls that diminish health; Patrons Keys for activating locked doors with illuminated symbols; Vessels for installation on Pedestal secrets (though clearly not marked) Innovation introduced by the game in its genre: the levels of steel are not clearly divided among themselves, but only through loading (earlier than in "Turok [1]: Dinosaur Hunter" (1997) and "Quake [2]" (1997)) Disadvantages: Russian language is missing some settings are not supported: no free mouse browsing; Does not regulate the volume of the sound of the bugs: in "Windows 7 x64" The color of the image is distorted; Sometimes the game crashes when you click on the "Start" button "OK" IMHO: The shooter with the elements of horror met in the "2D" genre representative "Escape from Monster Manor" (1993); Its engine like "Jedi" from "Star Wars: Dark Forces [1]" (1995) may have been made on the basis of "ID Tech [1]" (closer to its modified version from "Hexen [1]: Beyond Heretic" (1995)); Stands out against the background of previous shooters its gaming atmosphere; I recommend it as something intermediate between "Doom [1]" (1993) and "Blood [1]" (1997) Score: 4/5 "Oldschool shooters": http://steamcommunity.com/groups/vladalekap
